Why do I have to allow list?

With ePHISHiency, we leverage the most up-to-date and realistic phishing email subjects so our emails mimic real-life phishing emails. As a result, your email service or spam filter may block them or send them automatically to everyone’s junk or spam folders.

If our emails are unable to reach everyone at your company, we’ll be unable to get an accurate representation of your organization’s susceptibility. In addition, if every person doesn’t receive the email and get the opportunity to make a decision about what to do with it, they won’t be prepared for when a real phishing email arrives in their inbox.

The goal here is to get our phishing simulation emails in front of everyone at your organization, so that when the “real thing” arrives, they are ready and know to what to do.

A quick note

In alignment with our commitment to advocating for systems that promote equity, inclusivity, and embrace diversity, Hive Systems uses the term “allow list” instead of “whitelist.” Some companies may still refer to it as the latter, but the cybersecurity concept is the same.
